Nearly all third through eighth graders in School District 21, regardless of their proficiency in English, will participate in the State-mandated Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT). The tests primarily take place during the week of March 2nd, though make-up tests for absent students continue through the following week. The tests include reading and mathematics tests at all grade levels. Additionally, writing and science tests are given at specific grade levels. (See the table below.)
